SHREE, a fast-growing ethnic wear brand in India, has outlined an ambitious growth roadmap, targeting ₹900 crore in revenue by 2030, up from its current ₹150 crore. This expansion will be driven by a significant retail push, with plans to scale its store network to over 300 outlets within the next three years, alongside a strategic shift towards large-format stores.
The brand will increasingly invest in stores sized between 3,000 and 5,000 sq. ft. across metro cities and emerging high-growth markets. These larger retail formats are aimed at delivering an enhanced, immersive shopping experience, enabling a broader product display and driving higher customer engagement and spending.
Established in 2009, SHREE has carved a niche in the ethnic wear segment by blending traditional Indian design sensibilities with modern functionality. It currently operates 130 exclusive brand outlets and maintains a strong presence across online marketplaces through an omnichannel retail approach.
The expansion will cover Tier I, II, and III cities, tapping into rising demand for affordable yet stylish ethnic wear among aspirational and working consumers.
Speaking on the brand’s vision, Managing Director Sandeep Kapoor highlighted that the move towards large-format retail will support SHREE’s transformation into a comprehensive lifestyle destination. The expansion will also strengthen market reach while enabling the introduction of new categories, including sarees and an expanded men’s ethnic wear line.
Category diversification is central to SHREE’s next growth phase. The brand is entering the saree segment and scaling its men’s ethnic wear offering, launched in 2025. Larger stores will facilitate these additions while boosting cross-selling opportunities.
On the global front, SHREE is gradually expanding its presence in international markets such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Sharjah, catering to increasing global demand for Indian ethnic fashion.
A core strength of the brand lies in its in-house design capabilities, supported by dedicated studios and experienced teams. With the ability to introduce 10–12 new designs daily, SHREE ensures a constant refresh of collections while preserving traditional craftsmanship.
With a strong focus on retail expansion, product diversification, and consumer-centric innovation, SHREE is well-positioned to capitalise on the growing ethnic wear market and achieve sustained long-term growth.
