Former Nykaa retail leader Shailendra Singh has joined D’Moksha, the U.S.-based luxury home décor brand, as Co-Founder and COO, as the company prepares to debut in India. Known for his deep expertise in retail strategy and consumer brands, Singh’s appointment signals a new phase of growth for D’Moksha as it pivots from its U.S. success toward building a premium presence in the Indian market.
Founded in 2020 by Manav and Nimisha Dhanda, D’Moksha has already made a mark in the U.S. with its sustainable, boutique-quality home textiles—notably premium curtains and table linens. Backed by an efficient, vertically integrated supply chain in India, the brand promises high-quality products with fast, reliable delivery.

An IIM Lucknow alumnus, Shailendra brings two decades of experience from companies like Hindustan Unilever and Nykaa, where he spearheaded sales, digital innovation, and offline retail expansion.

D’Moksha is currently piloting an innovative “curtains-at-home” service, combining fabric trials, design consultations, and digital visualizations. The brand’s India rollout is expected to redefine customized home styling, combining convenience and eco-conscious luxury.
