The recently launched Satya Paul store at DLF Emporio stands as a testament to the brand’s unwavering commitment to innovation in the world of Indian retail. Founded in 1985, Satya Paul has been a trailblazer, consistently challenging the norms of traditional fashion. Renowned for its groundbreaking designs that redefine the conventional sari and introduce limitless prints, the brand has garnered a following of individuals who resonate with its forward-looking, optimistic, and progressive outlook.

The architectural concept of the new store is a visual marvel, resembling a metaphorical cocoon in the form of a literal egg. Designed by Rajesh Pratap Singh, Satya Paul’s Creative Director, the store is a blend of smooth, soft, and seamless contours, creating an experimental and nurturing environment for visitors. The space is not just a store; it’s an immersive experience that reflects the brand’s vision and ethos.

Within the egg-shaped space, bursts of color come alive, showcasing Satya Paul’s distinctive prints that have become synonymous with the brand. The use of materials, such as terazzo, aligns with Satya Paul’s philosophy of exploring local and familiar elements through a global and unexpected lens. A unique pink shade, derived from local materials but with a cosmopolitan quality, serves as a unifying thread, encapsulating the essence of Satya Paul.

The store currently features two of Satya Paul’s latest collections: Delhi-Kyoto Non-Stop and Acid Flowers. The former seamlessly weaves together the cultural tapestries of India and Japan, drawing inspiration from Japanese woodblocks, Boro patchwork, serene Japanese gardens, yakuza tattoos, and the Sakura season. The Acid Flowers collection invites patrons to engage in a dance with the eternal beauty of nature, offering a perfect blend of sophistication and spontaneity.

Situated in DLF Emporio, the space not only serves as a showcase for Satya Paul’s iconic designs but also as a reflection of the brand’s commitment to providing visitors with a sense of autonomy and freedom. This store marks a significant milestone in Satya Paul’s journey, symbolizing a new chapter in the brand’s ongoing exploration of pushing the boundaries of conventional fashion.
