RUDOLF, a global leader in textile auxiliaries and specialty chemicals, continues to drive innovation in technical textiles with a strong focus on performance, functionality and sustainability. With over a century of expertise, the company will present its latest developments at Techtextil 2026, scheduled from 21 to 24 April 2026 at Messe Frankfurt.

Innovative Finishing Technologies

At the core of RUDOLF’s showcase are advanced finishing solutions designed for technical and functional textiles.

FERAN® SRC is engineered for cellulose-based textiles, offering a durable soil-release finish that enhances stain removal for oil, grease and pigment residues. It maintains fabric cleanliness and performance over repeated wash cycles while ensuring a hydrophilic surface for improved wearer comfort.

RUCO-THERM® PCM BIO MFT introduces a bio-based approach to thermal regulation, improving climate control properties in textiles while supporting sustainable material innovation.

Expanding its functional portfolio, RUCO-BAC® ROX, developed in collaboration with Heraeus Precious Metals, delivers a next-generation solution for odour control. Unlike traditional silver-based systems, it operates through a catalytic process that generates reactive oxygen species to eliminate odour-causing microorganisms. The self-regenerating mechanism ensures long-lasting effectiveness without depletion.

RUDOLF also presents RUCO®-LUB BMN, a biodegradable alternative to conventional sewability finishes. The solution enhances fabric smoothness, reduces friction during stitching and improves durability by minimising wear, while maintaining tear strength and delivering a soft hand feel.

Driving Industry Dialogue

At Techtextil 2026, RUDOLF aims to engage with industry stakeholders on emerging trends, sustainable practices and future applications across the textile value chain. Visitors can explore these innovations at Hall 9.0, Booth E40, gaining insights into next-generation textile technologies.
