RSWM Limited Marks Strong Presence at Bharat Tex 2026 with Sustainability Recognition
RSWM Limited, the flagship company of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, concluded a successful participation at Bharat Tex 2026 by reinforcing its commitment to sustainable textile manufacturing through innovation, responsible practices and industry collaboration. The company was honoured with the ‘Data-Driven Sustainability Excellence in Textile Manufacturing’ award at the CITI Textile Sustainability Awards & CITI-Birla Awards 2025-26, recognising its systematic approach to integrating data-driven sustainability across its operations.
At the exhibition, RSWM showcased its latest product innovations under its master brand concept, SUTRADHAAR – The Thread That Connects Tradition to Tomorrow. One of the key highlights was Milkweed Fibre, a sustainable natural fibre that attracted strong interest from domestic and international buyers for its comfort, performance and eco-friendly characteristics. The company also presented its Protective Wear range, highlighting its expanding capabilities in technical textiles with advanced solutions designed to meet evolving industry requirements. The Ministry of Textiles also appreciated the SUTRADHAAR concept for effectively reflecting RSWM’s vision of combining India’s textile heritage with future-focused innovation and sustainability.
The RSWM pavilion welcomed several senior government officials, including Shri Giriraj Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Textiles; Ms. Arti Kanwar, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Textiles; Ms. Padmini Singla, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Textiles; Mr. Rohit Kansal, Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development; and Mr. Anil Kumar, Director, Ministry of Textiles. The dignitaries interacted with the company’s leadership team and reviewed its latest sustainability initiatives and product developments.
To strengthen environmental performance, RSWM has implemented a comprehensive monitoring framework that includes real-time tracking of utilities, department-wise and process-specific water consumption, and continuous assessment of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) performance. The company also conducts regular stack emission and ambient air quality monitoring through NABL-accredited laboratories, while IoT-enabled sensors support continuous operational monitoring and resource optimisation. Sustainability initiatives are implemented through cross-functional teams operating under an approved sustainability policy, supported by regular employee awareness and training programmes.

RSWM continues to expand its sustainability roadmap through increased adoption of renewable energy and circular manufacturing practices. Around 70% of the company’s total energy consumption is currently met through renewable sources, with plans to further increase the share of green energy. The company has proposed 2070 as its Net Zero target year, subject to operational review. Its sustainability initiatives include biofuel conversion of boilers, renewable energy integration, water recycling, Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) projects, and the recycling of post-consumer PET bottles into green fibre, supporting a circular textile value chain.
Alongside its environmental efforts, RSWM continues to invest in sustainable sourcing, employee engagement and community development initiatives covering healthcare, sanitation, education, safe drinking water, vocational training, livelihood enhancement and food security, while expanding its portfolio of sustainable textile products manufactured from recycled PET bottles.
