RSWM and Adani Energy Solutions Join Forces for a Sustainable Future

RSWM Ltd., one of India’s leading textile manufacturers and the flagship company of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, has partnered with Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. (AESL) to supply 60 MW of renewable energy. This collaboration marks a major milestone in RSWM’s ongoing sustainability journey.

Under this agreement, AESL will manage the entire green power value chain to meet RSWM’s additional power needs. As part of the initiative, RSWM invested ₹60 crore under the Group Captive Scheme with a renewable generation company. The project will supply 31.53 crore units of green energy annually to RSWM’s manufacturing facilities across Rajasthan.

With this addition, renewable energy will soon account for 70% of RSWM’s total power requirement, up from the current 33%. This shift significantly advances the company’s clean energy goals, positioning it far ahead of India’s national clean energy mix average of 31%.

“This achievement underscores our long-term vision to align growth with sustainability and reinforces our position as a forward-looking industrial leader,” said Mr. Riju Jhunjhunwala, Chairman, Managing Director and CEO, RSWM Ltd. “By sourcing 70% of our total energy from renewable sources, RSWM continues to set industry benchmarks in responsible energy transition.”

“We are delighted to partner with RSWM on this landmark initiative that showcases how sustainability can become integral to business growth,” said Mr. Kandarp Patel, CEO, Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. “This collaboration highlights the scalability of renewable power in driving industrial progress while supporting decarbonization.”

“With an equity investment of ₹60 crore, this project marks a key milestone in our sustainability journey,” added Mr. Rajeev Gupta, Joint Managing Director, RSWM Ltd. “By integrating hybrid power, RSWM is reducing its carbon footprint while enhancing long-term energy security and operational efficiency.”

RSWM remains committed to embedding sustainability across all operations—from renewable energy integration to circular material use and responsible water management. These initiatives continue to position RSWM as a future-ready textile leader contributing to a regenerative and resilient economy.

Meanwhile, AESL’s Commercial & Industrial (C&I) vertical delivers tailored energy solutions to bulk power consumers. Through reliable, cost-effective, and green energy offerings, AESL supports industries in meeting operational and sustainability goals. The company is targeting a C&I portfolio of 7,000 MW within the next five years.
