Sportswear giant Reebok, in collaboration with Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited, is set to open approximately 100 stores each year in India for the next three years. The ambitious plan is part of Reebok’s strategy to establish a strong presence and achieve a Rs 1,000 crore business in the country.
The objective is to have fewer than 500 Reebok outlets across India by the fiscal year 2027, creating widespread accessibility. Known for its running and crossfit clothing, trainers, and athleisure for men, women, and kids, Reebok aims to cater to diverse customer needs.
Currently operating around 170 physical stores in India, including locations in Nagpur, New Delhi, and Bengaluru, Reebok is gearing up for substantial growth. The brand’s ambassadors for the Indian market are Bollywood actress Taapse Pannu and cricket player Surya Kumar Yadav, enhancing its appeal to a broad audience.
Reebok initially entered the Indian market in 2006 under the ownership of Adidas. In 2021, Authentic Brand Group acquired Reebok, and Aditya Birla Fashion secured the retail rights for the brand in India, marking a new chapter in its expansion plans.
