Ralph Lauren released its 2024 Global Citizenship & Sustainability Report on Wednesday, stating that the company has decreased its absolute emissions by 33% from 2020.
The report presents a comprehensive analysis of the brand’s progress towards its sustainability and social responsibility objectives. It also highlights the brand’s latest achievements in sustainability, innovation, and community involvement.

Ralph Lauren’s dedication to sustainability through the launch of cutting-edge products is prominently highlighted in the study. Among them are the world’s first 100% recycled cotton polo shirt certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and the Cradle to Cradle (C2C) Certified® Denim Flag Trucker Jacket. The business also unveiled its first line of sweaters certified by the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS).

By keeping coal out of its manufacturing supply chain, Ralph Lauren has also achieved great strides.

Finally, the report features the debut of the Artist in Residence initiative, which showcases the work of Diné (Navajo) artist Naiomi Glasses. Three landmark collections came from this collaboration, setting an example for reciprocally beneficial cultural alliances.

In the future, Ralph Lauren plans to open the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Prevention at the Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Southern California in October. The facility, which is partially supported by a grant from The Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation, will increase the company’s dedication to public health and wellness.

According to Katie Ioanilli, chief global impact & communications officer of Ralph Lauren Corporation, “Since our founding 57 years ago, Ralph Lauren has stood for timelessness—creating beautiful, quality pieces that are made to be worn, loved, and passed on to the next generation.”

“Not only does our vision for timelessness drive our work, but it also guides our operations worldwide, how we interact with our colleagues, and how we give back to the communities we serve. We take this action because we want our company to endure, much like our renowned styles.”
