The inaugural editions of Plastics Recycling Show India (PRSI) 2024 and UTECH India – Sustainable Polyurethane and Foam Expo (ISPUF) 2024, concluded successfully last December, setting new benchmarks in material innovation and sustainable practices. Organized by Crain Communications and Media Fusion, both events created strong momentum for eco-conscious advancements in recycling and polyurethane sectors.
PRSI 2024 attracted over 6,000 visitors and featured 120+ exhibitors, presenting cutting-edge technologies in waste management, recycling innovations, and sustainable materials. The event hosted insightful sessions on EPR policies, tech innovations, and regulatory frameworks. The Plastics Recycling Awards India recognized leaders such as Ganesha Ecosphere, Pashupati Group, and Banyan Nation for their sustainable contributions.
ISPUF 2024, including the Sleep Expo India Pavilion, drew 2,700+ attendees and nearly 50 exhibitors, focusing on advancements in polyurethane applications, mattress manufacturing, and eco-friendly foam solutions. The conference featured 18 experts sharing trends on green production and manufacturing innovations.
Mr. Taher Patrawala, MD of Media Fusion, emphasized the events’ impact on pushing industry-wide sustainability and innovation, while Mr. Matthew Barber of Crain Communications highlighted the events’ global appeal, with participants from over 50 countries driving international collaboration on circular economy principles.
Key exhibitors included Sesotec, Dalmia, Pashupati Polytex, and Packem Umasree at PRSI, and Duroflex, Libra Mattresses, and Chemie Products at ISPUF. Both expos received strong support from organizations like the Indian Plastics Institute, Association of PET Recyclers Bharat (APR Bharat), and more.
Following the overwhelming success, PRSI & UTECH ISPUF will return for their 2nd editions from November 13–15, 2025, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, promising deeper engagement and further progress toward a sustainable future.
