To lessen the 140,000 tonnes of textile waste that the Cambodian apparel sector generates annually, a new programme has been started.

In order to increase circularity, the Global Fashion Agenda (GFA) initiative and the German development organisation GIZ are seeking stakeholders for a new pilot project.

The Global Circular Fashion Forum (GCFF) established the “Circular Fashion Partnership Cambodia” to urge nations who produce textiles to speed up and scale up the recycling of post-industrial textile waste.
