Primark, a renowned multinational clothes retailer, has extended its five-year relationship with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to support its ambitious global expansion objectives.

With this expanded agreement, TCS will help change Primark’s IT operational environment and reduce time-to-market for the retailer, in line with its future growth goals.
In a statement, Andrew Brothers, Primark’s chief information officer, stated, “Working with TCS will provide us with the ongoing operational stability and accountability required to support our business’s growth.” This will allow us to respond quickly to market developments and client preferences, ensuring that we continue to provide high-quality items at the best value to our customers.
Shekar Krishnan, TCS’s head of retail, UK and Europe, stated, “The fashion sector is constantly modernizing its entire value chain—from concept to design, production, and retailing—with innovation-led initiatives to accomplish environmental, social, and governance goals. We’re happy to support Primark’s objective to provide cheap fashion for all, as well as its global expansion plans.”
TCS began operations in the UK about 50 years ago and currently works with over 200 companies, including British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Sainsbury’s, Marks & Spencer, Asda, and Boots.
