In the 2024 Furniture Today Reader Ranking Awards, Precision Textiles, a pioneer in textile innovation and a top supplier to the bedding, home furnishings, healthcare, and automotive sectors, was named the Best Components Supplier. The award emphasizes the company’s outstanding value in offering premium fire-retardant (FR) components and its expertise in creating cutting-edge, FR bedding industry solutions. Precision Textiles will use this award as a chance to give back in the spirit of the season by planting 2,500 pine trees around North Carolina, with a special emphasis on places ravaged by Hurricane Helene.

Furniture Industry experts are invited to nominate organizations for their quality and innovation in a variety of areas through the Today’s Reader Rankings program. Readers of the journal choose the nominees and winners for these awards, which honor the finest in the business.

Scott Tesser, CEO of Precision Textiles, stated, “We are honored to have been named the Best Bedding Component Supplier in Furniture Today’s Reader Ranking Awards.” This honor demonstrates our dedication to provide cutting-edge, fire-resistant products designed especially for the bedding sector. Our goods, which include laminated materials and specially designed turnkey solutions for mattress producers, put quality, sustainability, and customer safety first—values that have made us a market leader. But since we think that real success entails accountability, we are taking this opportunity to significantly impact our communities and the environment.

In collaboration with the Arbor Day Foundation, Tesser said the tree gift will target regions worst hit by Hurricane Helene, a storm that killed people and left extensive damage in September 2024. By reforesting damaged land, enhancing soil health, and producing long-term environmental benefits, the firm hopes to contribute to the region’s rehabilitation by planting thousands of longleaf pine trees. Giving back isn’t the only goal of our project. It’s about transforming a proud accomplishment into something that helps ensure a resilient and sustainable future for our planet and the hurricane’s impacted population.

The restoration of the longleaf pine ecosystem is in line with Precision Textiles’ overarching goal of protecting the environment and setting the standard for sustainability, environmental responsibility, and constructive change in the bedding sector. The business has long been dedicated to creating cutting-edge solutions that not only satisfy the strictest safety and quality requirements but also help create a healthier world.

Precision Textiles aims to encourage other firms to take significant action in their communities, particularly during times of need and during this season of giving, by fusing industrial excellence with environmental sustainability.
