Pre-Vibrant Seminar on Textile and Apparel Sector to be organized on 23rd November in Surat

— The theme of the event is “Future Ready 5F: Gujarat’s Textile Vision for Developed India”

A pre-vibrant seminar on textile and apparel sector will be organized in Surat on 23 November. This seminar will be held at the Platinum Hall, Sarsana as a part of the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit to be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat from January 10 to 12, 2024. This program has been organized with the cooperation of ASSOCHAM, SGCCI and Industry organizations.

District Collector Ayush Oak said, Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit-2024 has been organized in Gandhinagar in January 2024. As a part of this event, a Pre-Vibrant Textile Summit on the theme “Future Ready 5F: Gujarat’s Textile Vision for a Developed India” will be organized in Surat in collaboration with the State Government, ASSOCHAM and SGCCI. About 550 entrepreneurs have registered in this event.

The theme of this seminar, to be held from 9 am, is “Future Ready 5F: Gujarat’s Textile Vision for a Developed India”. Textile experts will address the Prime Minister’s 5F vision – Farm to Fiber – Fiber to Fabric – Fabric to Fashion – Fashion to Foreign. The event expects the participation of many eminent national and global industry leaders, government officials as well as other relevant stakeholders to deliberate, envision and charter the role of Gujarat’s textile and apparel sector for a developed India@2047.

Chief Minister of the state Bhupendrabhai Patel, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Textiles, (Government of India) Piyush Goyal, Minister of State for Railways and Textiles Darshanaben Jardosh, Minister of State for Home Harshbhai Sanghvi will be present in this pre-vibrant summit.

The seminar to be held in three sessions will feature the guidance from Sohail Nathwani, Chairman, National Trade Council ASSOCHAM, on Gujarat Textile Weaving for Vikseet Bharat, Prashant Agarwal on Leading Edge Textile Infrastructure from Foam Looms and Senior Consultant Suryadev Mukherjee on VVIG Tradition Technology.
