The Sudha Reddy Foundation, in partnership with MEIL Foundation, announced the second edition of the Pink Power Run, dedicated to raising awareness and mobilizing funds for breast cancer initiatives. The press launch at Trident Hyderabad marked the beginning of one of the city’s most anticipated health and empowerment events.

This year’s edition carries the theme “Stride and Shine”, symbolizing courage, resilience, and hope. It emphasizes the importance of each step taken—whether for healing, solidarity, or advocacy—in inspiring others and sparking change.

The announcement was graced by Miss World 2025, Opal Suchata Chuangsri, a breast cancer survivor, and Miss Asia 2025, Krishnah Gravidez, adding international recognition to the initiative. Both will participate in the run on 28th September 2025 at Necklace Road, Hyderabad, joining thousands of participants in a united movement of pink.

Pink Power Run 2.0 goes beyond a marathon by advocating early detection, regular screenings, and survivor support. This year introduces a landmark inclusion of women runners from rural communities, extending awareness and empowerment beyond urban limits.

The initiative reflects the CSR vision of the Sudha Reddy Foundation, led by philanthropist Mrs. Sudha Reddy, who highlighted the organization’s extensive healthcare and women’s empowerment programs across India, including screening camps, awareness drives, and survivor initiatives. “Breast cancer awareness is not just a cause, it is a responsibility we owe to every woman. Through the Sudha Reddy Foundation and the Pink Power Run, we aim to reach women in every corner of society, from corporate boardrooms to remote villages, with the life-saving message that early detection saves lives. The support from Miss World and Miss Asia amplifies our mission on a truly global stage,” she said.

Miss World 2025, Opal Suchata Chuangsri, shared her survivor’s journey, reminding women worldwide of the importance of knowledge and early detection. “As a breast cancer survivor, I have walked through the fear, the uncertainty, and the relentless fight that this journey demands. Today, I stand here to tell every woman, in Hyderabad and across the world, that you are never alone. Knowledge, early screening, and the strength of a united community can and do save lives.”

Miss Asia 2025, Krishnah Gravidez, echoed this sentiment, underlining the purpose behind the event. “This event is a reminder that true beauty is measured not by appearance, but by the actions we take, the empathy we show, and the purpose we live for. I am honoured to stand beside the Sudha Reddy Foundation in this fight. Because together, we can change the narrative on breast cancer.”

The press launch also unveiled the Pink Power Run 2.0 jersey, medal, and campaign film, along with highlights from last year’s edition. The event concluded with media interactions, survivor stories, and an emphasis on expanding health awareness to rural regions.
