Pharrell Williams and adidas have introduced two new colourways of the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish sneaker, expanding the creative universe of the silhouette with Triple Black and Royal Blue editions. The release follows the sneaker’s recognition as Footwear News Shoe of the Year 2025, reinforcing its cultural and design impact.
The Triple Black version was first previewed in New York City through an exclusive launch at Billionaire Boys Club on Mercer Street, while the Royal Blue colourway debuted in Las Vegas via a limited, sold-out release. Both versions are now set to launch in India on 21 February 2026.
The design is defined by its exaggerated, wave-inspired midsole, drawing visual cues from the floating gills of a jellyfish. A layered mesh upper combined with an exoskeletal framework adds depth, structure and a sense of motion, while select glow-in-the-dark details enhance its futuristic appeal. The VIRGINIA creative universe continues to serve as a space where the Adistar concept evolves through imagination and experimentation.
Priced at INR 29,999, the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish in Triple Black and Royal Blue will be available at select adidas retailers and on the adidas app from 10 am IST on 21 February.
