To strengthen its physical presence in Kerala, the men’s and women’s clothing and denim company Pepe Jeans London opened a unique brand store in Calicut (Kozhikode). The store sells the brand’s assortment of casual western clothing and is situated in the city’s HiLite Mall.

The shopping center posted images of the new store on Facebook along with the announcement, “Make fashion statement with Pepe Jeans- now open on the ground floor of HiLite Mall.” When the store first launched, it offered customers several promotions, such as buy one, get 25% off and buy two, get two free.

There are many Pepe Jeans London locations around the state of Kerala, including two in Kochi and one in Thiruvananthapuram. Due in part to its offline growth, the company said this summer that it is on track to earn a total revenue of Rs 2,000 crore.

The store features a wall devoted to denim, which is the brand’s hallmark item and comes in a wide range of styles. Pepe Jeans London sells clothing for both men and women, while its new Calicut location specializes in men’s clothing.

In India, Pepe Jeans India Limited has over 200 outlets. According to the Press Trust of India, the company declared in July of last year that it will establish 100 new outlets during the next three years and increase its physical presence throughout India. Pepe Jeans anticipates that direct-to-consumer retail, including both its online and physical locations, will account for between 35 and 40 percent of its sales in India.
