After the rule of sweatpants, we’re now looking for alternative ways to wear our elastic
pants. As we see the transition in people, we crave more and more for something that is
not lounge wear yet isn’t denim. As observed, the Kardashians & Jenner’s parachute

The modern day take on parachute pants that earned their name, thanks to the baggy
shape and of course nylon. Introduced in 1980’s when different styles of pants started
taking over, parachute pants made it’s way which they were originally known as flight
pants.
During the height of popularity 1984-85, boys wearing parachute pants were ubiquitous.
Bugle boy did make pants for girls and women though they remained most popular in
men. They went out of fashion Almost as quickly as they arrived, with the fad lasting
for two years.

In the recent trend forecasting, it shows that parachute pants are taking over the fashion
industry & will therefore be a huge trend. From celebrities to Influencers, everyone
chose these pants over any other slim fits.
