The heritage menswear label presented three refined looks crafted in Scabal cloth at the Embassy of Belgium, celebrating art, architecture, and timeless tailoring.

At an exclusive evening hosted by the Embassy of Belgium, legacy menswear house P N RAO Fine Suits unveiled a striking three-look capsule in Scabal fabrics, inspired by the surrealism of Salvador Dalí. The showcase brought together design luminaries, diplomats, influencers, and media, spotlighting the brand’s mastery in blending heritage tailoring with modern proportion and craftsmanship.

In a distinguished setting at the Embassy of Belgium, P N RAO Fine Suits took centre stage with a Dalí-inspired presentation that balanced architectural tailoring with effortless wearability. Displayed alongside eminent labels including Diwan Saheb, Jade Blue, and The Darzi Group, P N RAO’s three-look capsule articulated a bold vision across business, red-carpet, and wedding ensembles — all emphasizing fabric innovation, comfort, and sculptural precision.

Founded in 1923 by Pishe Narayan Rao, the brand stands as one of India’s most enduring names in bespoke menswear, continually evolving with time while staying true to its classic roots.

The Collection: Three Statements in Cloth

Fabric remained the hero of the evening, with clean silhouettes that echoed modern ease.

  • Business Look:
Featured a deconstructed shacket — feather-light yet structured — with a single-button stance and subtle overlap for height, paired with relaxed trousers finished with a discreet drawstring, balancing sharpness and comfort.

  • Red-Carpet Look:
A statement in lustrous grey and white pinstripes interwoven with green Deco pick-stitch, complemented by a deep-green velvet shawl lapel and waistcoat-style open-sleeve jacket, designed to move gracefully under light and camera.

  • Wedding Look:
A modern homage to Indian regality, the ensemble featured a Bandhgala-tailcoat hybrid with a Darbari-inspired cummerbund and sharply tailored velvet trousers, blending Savile Row precision with Indian grandeur.

Artistry and Inspiration

The design language drew abstract cues from Salvador Dalí’s surrealist works — including Lady Godiva Fully Clothed, Cybernetic Gentleman, and A Maximum of Four Cravates. Instead of literal motifs, the influence surfaced through proportion, lapel structure, and textural interplay — keeping the narrative refined and focused on craftsmanship.

“Tonight is our thesis in three chapters: fabric first, lines precise, comfort non-negotiable. We wanted pieces you collect, wear hard, and remember from across the room,” said Ketan Pishe, Director, P N RAO Fine Suits.

Naveen Pishe, Director, added, “We kept the surrealism in the proportions and architecture rather than on the surface. It is P N RAO’s grammar: measured volume and immaculate make.”

The presentation showcased three models — each representing one of the themes: Business, Red Carpet, and Wedding — reaffirming the brand’s philosophy of understated elegance through fabric-driven design.
