OVS, Italy’s leading fashion retailer, is set to deepen its footprint in India with the launch of its first store in Mumbai on March 14, 2026, at Sky City Mall. The opening follows the brand’s encouraging debut in New Delhi in October 2025 and marks OVS’ second retail presence in the country, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the Indian market.
Mumbai, often regarded as India’s fashion capital, represents a strategic expansion for OVS, given its trend-conscious consumer base, robust retail ecosystem and strong influence on national fashion trends. The new store spans approximately 11,000 sq. ft. and showcases OVS’ latest global retail concept, designed to offer a contemporary and seamless shopping experience.
Reflecting the city’s diverse style preferences, the store presents a comprehensive assortment across womenswear, menswear and kidswear. Customers can explore accessible everyday fashion alongside premium and contemporary lines, including PIOMBO, Les Copains, B.Angel, Altavia and OVS Kids, making Italian design available at democratic price points.
Commenting on the expansion, Sundeep Chugh, Managing Director, OVS India, highlighted the strong response to the New Delhi launch and noted that Mumbai was a natural next step due to its fashion maturity. He reiterated the brand’s aim to position OVS as a trusted family fashion destination that balances style, value, quality and sustainability.
Carmine Di Virgilio, Global Chief Retail Officer at OVS S.p.A, emphasised India’s importance within the brand’s international growth strategy.
