Outlast® Wins WTiN Innovate Textile Award for Aersulate® Innovation

Outlast Technologies GmbH has received the WTiN Innovate Textile Award 2025 in the Material Innovation category for Aersulate®, its aerogel-infused insulation technology. The award recognises outstanding achievements in advanced material development and textile innovation.

A Breakthrough in Thermal Insulation Technology

Aersulate® represents a major advancement in thermal insulation. The technology integrates aerogel, a highly porous material that efficiently traps air. This structure delivers exceptional thermal performance at extremely low weight and minimal thickness.

In Aersulate® wadding, aerogel accounts for approximately 50 percent of the material volume. This composition enables superior insulation without adding bulk, making it suitable for space-constrained applications.

Consistent Performance Under Demanding Conditions

Aersulate® fabrics and waddings maintain nearly full performance even under compression and high humidity. Unlike conventional insulation materials, they provide reliable thermal comfort in challenging environments.

The minimal space requirement opens new application possibilities that were previously unfeasible. As a result, Aersulate® offers consistent performance wherever durability, comfort, and insulation stability are essential.

Broad Market Applications Across Multiple Segments

Outlast is positioning Aersulate® for wide market adoption across several high-value segments.
