Retail is the earliest form of commerce and highstreets are the original home of Retail. Globally, cities are identified by their highstreets. These high streets are one of the main attractions of the city and the brands on these streets a barometer of the city’s worth on a global platform. Indeed, the most well-known highstreets also attract some of the highest rental values. But is rent the only parameter on which highstreets can be rated? To do this, Knight Frank India has conducted extensive on-ground research across top 8 markets of India. This is perhaps one of its kind of study by any property consultancy in India that involves our teams visiting every city and evaluating every store physically.
