Allbirds’ collaboration with fashion designer Olivia Rubin brings together their expertise in sustainable footwear and her vibrant use of color. The capsule collection centers around Allbirds’ Riser silhouette, which Rubin has infused with her signature pastel aesthetic, drawing inspiration from the beautiful pastel hues found in the townhouses of London’s Notting Hill.

The Riser sneaker in this collaboration showcases Allbirds’ commitment to using natural materials. The upper is crafted from organic cotton and ZQ-certified merino wool, which ensures both comfort and sustainability. By incorporating these materials, Allbirds and Rubin emphasize their dedication to creating products that are both environmentally friendly and stylish.

The design of the Riser also incorporates other sustainable elements. The pink Tencel Lyocell ripstop tongue is derived from eucalyptus tree fiber, a renewable and low-carbon resource. The natural rubber sole features a rainbow camouflage pattern, adding a playful touch to the shoe while maintaining its eco-friendly ethos. Additionally, the SweetFoam midsole is made from carbon-negative, sugarcane-derived green EVA, further highlighting the collection’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint.

The collaboration between Allbirds and Olivia Rubin exemplifies how fashion brands can come together to create innovative and sustainable products without compromising on style or quality. By combining Allbirds’ expertise in sustainable footwear with Rubin’s vibrant color palette and design sensibility, the capsule collection offers consumers an exciting and eco-conscious option for their footwear choices.
