NYAI Launches Agentic AI Platform for Legal and Compliance Teams

NYAI, a legal and compliance AI company, has launched NYAI AI Studio, an agentic AI infrastructure platform designed for law firms and legal and compliance functions within enterprises.

The platform marks a shift from AI tools that support individual tasks towards AI agents that can execute legal and compliance workflows from intake to delivery.

NYAI AI Studio enables organisations to work with their own data, controls and preferred AI models. It brings data, agents, models, tools, workflows, institutional knowledge and governance together within one environment.

As a result, organisations can build an AI practice tailored to their own legal and compliance requirements.

NYAI AI Studio Moves Beyond Point Solutions

The growing use of generative AI has created new governance challenges for legal and compliance teams.

Sensitive information can move across multiple AI applications. This can make it difficult for organisations to track what information is processed, which model handles it, who accesses it and what each process costs.

NYAI AI Studio addresses this challenge by providing an infrastructure layer beneath AI applications.

The platform follows a model-agnostic approach and integrates with Claude, GPT, Microsoft Copilot and Gemini. Organisational data remains within the NYAI environment, while inference runs through the AI ecosystem selected by each organisation.

Therefore, teams can choose different AI models for different tasks rather than relying on one model across all workflows.

Organisations Can Build Custom AI Agents

NYAI AI Studio combines ready-to-deploy agents for common legal work with a builder that allows lawyers and compliance professionals to create their own.

Teams can encode their playbooks, precedents, clause libraries and escalation protocols into custom agents, tools, skills and workflows.

The platform also uses a knowledge graph and organisational memory to retain matter-level and institutional context.

This allows each engagement to contribute to the organisation’s wider knowledge base and build institutional expertise over time.

Multi-Agent Workflows Support Complex Legal Work

The Studio goes beyond individual tasks such as research, drafting, summarisation, chronologies and redlining.

It can also coordinate multiple agents working together on a single matter.

For example, during mergers and acquisitions due diligence, specialised agents can classify documents, extract metadata, assess risks and combine their findings into a matter-level report.

The same architecture can support land and title due diligence, statutory compliance, regulatory monitoring and audits, among other legal and compliance processes.

Five Ways Organisations Can Use NYAI AI Studio

NYAI AI Studio offers five primary deployment and usage pathways:

Legal Tools: A single environment for research, drafting, summaries, chronologies, redlines, contract lifecycle management and custom agent calls.

Compliance Management: Tools for obligation identification, penalty computation, obligation monitoring, compliance fulfilment, AI-based audits and evidence tracking.

Custom Agents: Organisations can build agents, workflows, tools and skills in-house and connect them to external generative AI models.

Off-the-Shelf Solutions: Ready-to-use solutions support intake, due diligence and DPDP consent management.

Custom AI Applications: Organisations can build and host tailored interfaces and applications using the Studio’s agents, tools and workflows.

NYAI AI Studio Offers Enterprise AI Capabilities

The platform includes a range of capabilities for legal and compliance teams, including:

  • AI agents and multi-agent orchestration
  • Reusable tools and skills
  • Custom workflows and scheduling
  • Knowledge graph and organisational memory
  • Model-agnostic AI orchestration
  • API gateway and MCP server
  • Governance, evaluation, RBAC, SSO and audit logs
  • Data privacy and security controls
  • Legal data corpus alongside organisational data

More Than 100 Integrations Connect Existing Workflows

NYAI AI Studio integrates with more than 100 platforms and tools.

These include iManage, SAP, DocuSign, Salesforce, leading storage platforms, email and WhatsApp.

The integrations allow organisations to introduce agentic workflows within the environments their legal and compliance professionals already use.

As a result, teams do not need to move their work to another standalone destination.

Vikrant Labde, Co-founder, NYAI, said:

“Our objective is not to replace the existing legal-technology stack with another collection of point solutions. It is to provide the infrastructure on which organisations build their own AI-native legal and compliance operations.”

Three Deployment Models Give Organisations Greater Control

NYAI AI Studio is available through three deployment models to address different data residency and security requirements:

  1. Software as a Service (SaaS)
  2. Isolated deployment on hyperscalers
  3. Air-gapped, on-premise deployment

Each model includes role-based access controls, single sign-on, model evaluation and comprehensive audit trails.

These capabilities allow organisations to adopt advanced AI while maintaining control over sensitive data, institutional knowledge and governance.

NYAI AI Studio Available in India

Advocate Dr. Chinmay S. Bhosale, Co-founder, NYAI, said:

“Legal and compliance teams cannot treat AI as merely another productivity application. Their work turns on sensitive client information, proprietary institutional knowledge, intricate processes and decisions that demand complete traceability.

Above all, one size does not fit all in legal and compliance. Every firm has its own playbooks, every enterprise its own regulatory footprint, and every matter its own contours. A generic AI tool cannot do justice to that diversity. NYAI AI Studio was, therefore, the need of the hour: a platform on which each organisation builds precisely the agents and workflows its practice demands.”

NYAI AI Studio is now available in India with immediate effect.

The company plans to expand the platform to the Middle East, the United States, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region in the coming quarter.
