If the Met Gala had an Indian makeover, the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center event in Mumbai during the first week of April would have included some glitzy looks created by Indian designers on the red carpet that drew admiring gazes from all over the world.

Bollywood’s presence on the red carpet at NMACC for the two-day event, which provided tremendous and glittering fashion inspiration, shocked the industry. In addition to the famous faces of Bollywood, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, and Penélope Cruz stunned us with their stunning appearances at the event

Rahul Mishra, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, and Manish Malhotra were among the prominent designers from the event whose names were frequently heard on the stage. The most memorable fashion moments of the evening, which were dominated by golden and shimmering tones, were as best as the photojournalists could catch them.

The blink trend with a molten metal edge stormed the red carpet, adding extravagant gloss and brightness to every star’s outfit. With Nicole Kidman’s Balenciaga outfit to an actress and fashion legend Marilyn Monroe’s gold gown from “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” which channelled the same spirit on the red carpet of the eve, the NAMCC also has some of the best fashion moments documented inside its halls.

One of the highlights of the show was when supermodel Gigi Hadid overtook the red carpet in an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla white chikankari sari with a gold border, making an impeccable traditional statement. She appeared surreal like a full goddess dripping in the colours of white and gold.

As these A-list divas stole the camera lenses with their glam and gloss, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Natasha Poonawala, Janhvi Kapoor, and many others left the red carpet in shine.

The NMACC stood out as the ideal setting for fusing modernism with the deep roots of traditional Indian attire, which screamed on the red carpet of the NMACC. Varun Dhawan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Rashmika Mandanna, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and many more Bollywood performers performed to a glittering theme that drew in viewers from all over the world.

The Ambanis made sure that the time was right to celebrate Indian fashion’s history with a hint of modern touch taking it to a global level and making the NMACC moment a red carpet walk to remember for every Indian, as evidenced by the crowd squealing with every big name of Bollywood.
