The NIFT Mumbai Graduation Show 2025, held on June 6 at the institute’s campus, was a vibrant celebration of creativity, innovation, and academic excellence. With 317 graduating students from various disciplines, the event served as a culmination of years of rigorous training and artistic exploration. Distinguished guests from the fashion and design industry—including Archana Kochhar, Nelson Jaffery, Meher Castelino, and others—graced the event to inaugurate discipline-specific shows like Fashionova (Fashion Design), Technova (Fashion Technology), Communique (Fashion Communication), Tantu (Textile Design), D-Dots (Master of Design), and Knitmoda (Knitwear Design).
Each showcase featured original student collections inspired by a wide range of themes, such as cultural identity, architectural fantasy, familial narratives, and divinity. The show highlighted NIFT Mumbai’s commitment to nurturing not just technical expertise, but also personal expression and entrepreneurial ambition among its students.
Director Mr. Khushal Jangid emphasized the alignment of NIFT’s vision with national initiatives like Start-up India and Make in India, encouraging graduates to step confidently into industry leadership and innovation. As proud parents, mentors, and peers watched the runway come alive, the event marked both an emotional farewell and a promising beginning for India’s next generation of fashion and lifestyle professionals.
