The graduating batch of NIFT Mumbai was on display at the NIFT Kharghar Campus. NIFT Mumbai, which is well-known for producing notable graduates in the design and lifestyle sectors, graduated 307 students in 2024. Honourable guests such as Prof. Dr. Pavan Godiawala (Director, NIFT Mumbai), Prof. Dr. Sharmila Dua (Ex-Dean, NIFT), Prof. Rajagopal Chinraj (President, Suditi Industry Pvt. Ltd.), & Prof. Murugan Thenkondar (President, Grasim Industries, Pulp & Fibre Business) inaugurated the Graduation Show 2024.
The event was graced by the august presence of prominent figures from the design and fashion industry, Shri. Nelson Jaffery (Design Head, Birla Cellulose), Smt. Sunayna Singh (CEO, Skechers), Smt. Aarti Vijay Gupta (Founder & Designer, Aarti Vijay Gupta label), Shri. Naved Aslam (Indian Film, Television & Theatre Actor, and Script Writer), Smt. Shibani Dasgupta Jain (Founder, Baaya Design)
Graduating students used the Graduation Show as an opportunity to present their design collections. These anthologies included a wide range of topics, from tales of desire and family relationships to fantastical stories influenced by heavenly and architectural features. Every collection showcased the distinct ingenuity and vision of the pupils.
