NIFT Mumbai Graduation Show 2024 Celebrates Creativity

The graduating class of NIFT Mumbai was on display at the NIFT Kharghar Campus on May 31, 2024. NIFT Mumbai, which is well-known for producing notable graduates in the design and lifestyle sectors, graduated 307 students in 2024. Honourable guests such as Prof. Dr. Pavan Godiawala (Director, NIFT Mumbai), Prof. Dr. Sharmila Dua (Ex-Dean, NIFT), Prof. Rajagopal Chinraj (President, Suditi Industry Pvt. Ltd.).

The event was graced by the august presence of prominent figures from the design and fashion industry, Shri. Nelson Jaffery (Design Head, Birla Cellulose), Smt. Sunayna Singh (CEO, Skechers), Smt. Aarti Vijay Gupta (Founder & Designer, Aarti Vijay Gupta label), Shri. Naved Aslam (Indian Film, Television & Theatre Actor, and Script Writer), Smt. Graduating students used the Graduation Show as an opportunity to present their design collections. These anthologies included a wide range of topics, from tales of desire and family relationships to fantastical stories influenced by heavenly and architectural features. Every collection showcased the distinct ingenuity and vision of the pupils. For her “Ghosts of Time” collection.

The director of NIFT Mumbai, Prof. Dr. Pavan Godiawala, emphasised the comprehensive education that NIFT students receive. He underlined how the institute gives students the academic understanding, exposure to the industry, professionalism, team spirit, and teamwork necessary to fit into a variety of professions in the fashion sector.
