Recently, NGO Tamanaorganised its annual fashion exhibition in Delhi in association with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). Fashion Beyond Boundaries was the name of the presentation. Designers Anju Modi, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Payal Jain, NamrataJoshipura, Nitin Bal Chauhan, ReynuTaandon, PawanSachdeva, DhruvVaish, Neetu Singh, and Abhi Singh created stunning outfits for the Tamana children that combined fashion and grit.

The menswear designers coupled Khadi with magnificent woollen textiles that were hand woven by the women of Almora, Uttarakhand, while the designers set the rhythm with maroon, green, indigo, and natural white. “The FDCI has a long history with Tamana, and this yearly celebration is the most anticipated event of the year. This is how we honour the Tamana kids’ unbreakable spirit as they bring joyous colours to the runway. Congratulations to TamanaChona for your artistic endeavours,” FDCI president Sunil Sethi said.
