New Balance City Series Brings Runners Together in Delhi

The inaugural Delhi event welcomed over 4,000 runners for 5K and 10K races, celebrating fitness, community and individual running journeys.

New Balance launched the inaugural New Balance City Series (NBCS) in Delhi. The three-day event brought together runners through an interactive Expo and a race day on Sunday.

Inspired by the brand’s global philosophy of ‘Run Your Way’, the event welcomed over 4,000 runners. Participants took part in 5K and 10K races. Moreover, the event welcomed runners of different experience levels and celebrated their individual journeys.

Interactive Expo Brings Runners Closer to the Brand

The weekend began with a two-day New Balance City Series Expo. It offered runners and visitors a chance to connect before race day.

Along with race kit and bib collection, the Expo featured several interactive activities. Visitors could explore the brand’s latest footwear at product display units. They could also try different products and visit customisation zones.

In addition, these experiences encouraged runners to discover the brand and connect with fellow participants. The City Series went beyond a traditional race. Instead, it created opportunities for people to share their passion for running and build stronger community connections.

Expanding the New Balance Run Club Community

The City Series builds on the growth of the New Balance Run Club (NBRC). The club has an active running community across Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad.

Through regular group runs, NBRC gives runners opportunities to train and connect. As a result, members can enjoy the sport together and build lasting relationships.

The City Series takes this approach further. It brings more runners together through a larger, city-wide event. At the same time, it celebrates the different goals and experiences that make every running journey unique.

Strengthening New Balance’s Presence in India

Radeshwer Davar, Country Manager, New Balance India, said, “We’ve always believed running is personal – everyone has their own pace, reason, and way. At the same time, community is built in moments, and the New Balance City Series brings both beliefs together: celebrating individual journeys while creating a shared space for runners to connect. Every detail, from the Expo to race day, reflects months of focused effort and our commitment to making every runner feel that care. This is central to how we’re building New Balance in India, with running emerging as one of the country’s most active sporting communities and a long-term growth pillar for us.”

Through the City Series, New Balance aims to strengthen its connection with India’s running community. The event combines running, product discovery and shared experiences. Furthermore, it supports the brand’s focus on running as a key area of long-term growth in India.
