Net profit for Trident Ltd.’s first quarter fell by 29% to Rs 90 crore.

Compared to the same quarter last year, Trident Ltd. had a 29 percent decline in net profit, falling to Rs 90 crore ($11.2 million) from Rs 124 crore.

The company’s overall revenue for the reviewed quarter decreased by 11% to Rs 1,550 crore from Rs 1,685 crore.

It presently has about 400 points of sale throughout the nation, and it intends to increase that number by doubling it the next year in order to strengthen its retail presence.
