Neeman’s Appoints Deepu Virmani as Chief Product Officer
Neeman’s, India’s comfort-first and sustainability-driven footwear brand, has appointed Deepu Virmani as Chief Product Officer.
In his new role, Virmani will lead the company’s end-to-end product strategy. His responsibilities will cover design, sourcing and product development.
Deepu Virmani Brings 25 Years of Experience
Virmani brings more than 25 years of experience across the footwear and retail ecosystem.
He joins Neeman’s from Reliance Retail’s Trends Footwear, where he served as Vice President – Sourcing & Product Development.
Earlier, he held senior positions at Bata India, Bharti Retail, Reliance Footprint and Mirza International. These roles have given him experience across different parts of the footwear value chain.
Strengthening Neeman’s Product Strategy
Commenting on the appointment, Taran Chhabra, Co-founder & CEO, Neeman’s, said:

The appointment comes as Neeman’s works towards its ₹1,000 crore revenue ambition over the next three years.
The company reported revenue of ₹185 crore in the previous financial year. It is now targeting ₹350 crore in the current financial year.
Neeman’s sees deeper product capabilities as an important part of this growth strategy. The company plans to strengthen its portfolio while expanding across categories and markets.

Speaking about his appointment, Deepu Virmani, Chief Product Officer, Neeman’s, said:
