The supermodel attended her friend Umar Kamani’s wedding in the South of France wearing a garment inspired by the Indian sari.
Naomi Campbell was recently sighted in the South of France attending an Indian-origin wedding while wearing an ensemble by Manish Malhotra. The supermodel donned a garment reminiscent of a sari made of lavender chiffon. The supermodel wore a sheer pallu, edged in marabou feathers, like a shawl over her shoulders, and a corseted bustier as part of the gown.
The millionaire founder of PrettyLittleThing, Umar Kamani, who married model Nada Adelle in a lavish four-day ceremony at the Hôtel Du Cap-Eden-Roc in the South of France, is pals with the supermodel. The bridegroom, Umar Kamani, hails from Kenya and India and has a diverse cultural background.
The four-day event, which took place in the Cote d’Azur, included a long list of well-known attendees and musicians, such as Italian singer Andrea Bocelli, who is well-known for having played at both of the Kardashian weddings—Kim and Kourtney.
The pair exchanged vows twice: once in a Western-style ceremony where the bride wore a couture wedding gown designed by the House of Dior, and again in an Indian ceremony featuring Bollywood dancers and dhol players. The bride and groom wore immaculate white Indian attire for the ceremony.
Campbell chose a custom off-the-shoulder gown in delicate peach tones designed by Lebanese designer Nicolas Jebran for the Western-style ceremony.
