Kunal Anil Tanna, a menswear designer, will launch its first flagship store in Mumbai’s Kala Ghoda area on August 22. The exclusive brand outlet, located opposite Lion’s Gate, will offer the label’s casual and event wear collection to the city.
The 1,100-square-foot store is intended to “redefine the luxury fashion experience,” according to the brand’s press release. The concept of Zen influences the store’s interior design, with a natural wood floor and cloth drapes throughout.
“This project has been extremely close to my heart, and I was very particular about the look and feel of the store’s interiors,” designer and brand founder Kunal Anil Tanna stated in a news statement. “As a result, I partnered with a close friend to design the entire experience directly. Each feature has a distinct character, from the muslin curtains to the moderate color palette to the mirrored walls.”
Kala Ghoda is renowned for its blend of history and culture. Kunal Anil Tanna, the eponymous designer, chose the location for his first Mumbai store to create a minimalist refuge amidst the city’s hustle and bustle. Following the store’s launch on Thursday, customers will be able to peruse the range of men’s tailored suits, fusion-style clothes, and relaxed casual wear.
