The fashion retail company Monsoon Accessorize has declared that it will provide scholarships to students enrolled in the MA Fashion Futures program at Central Saint Martins (CSM), University of the Arts London (UAL), and London College of Fashion (LCF).
Applications for the new scholarships will be accepted starting in September 2024. “We have developed a great working relationship with UAL on a number of sustainability and innovation projects, and we’re proud to be able to support their students directly via these scholarships,” said Nick Stowe, chief executive of Monsoon Accessorize.
“UAL offers an amazing platform for research and innovation in our industry, and their Fashion Futures course is a game-changer. These scholarships are only a small portion of the money we’re willing to invest in the individuals driving genuine change in the fashion industry. We’re interested in following Sarabi and Cassandra’s research as it develops.
“We are delighted to be working with Monsoon Accessorize to provide these brilliant scholarships for our students,” said Polly Mackenzie, chief social purpose officer at UAL.The scholarships offered to our students will play an important role in helping them to build a more ethical and sustainable fashion business.
