Zhejiang Mizuda Textile Printing & Dyeing Co., Ltd. (MIZUDA) has selected Centric PLM™ from Centric Software® to strengthen its product development capabilities and build a customer-centric innovation framework.

With more than three decades of experience in textile printing and dyeing, MIZUDA has established itself as a leading manufacturer in China, producing around 100 million metres of fabric annually and supplying customers in over 60 countries. Its portfolio includes corduroy, khaki, linen, printed, dyed, multi-fibre and functional fabrics.

As part of its digital transformation journey, the company identified research and development (R&D) as a key area requiring improvement. Increasing volumes of product data, customer requirements and process information had become fragmented across multiple systems, limiting visibility and slowing product development.

To address these challenges, MIZUDA chose Centric PLM to create a unified digital platform that connects customer demand with product development and manufacturing. The implementation is expected to improve collaboration, standardise workflows, enhance traceability and streamline the product lifecycle from concept to production.

Long Fangsheng, General Manager of MIZUDA, said the company required more than a software solution and sought a partner capable of supporting long-term business process transformation. He added that Centric Software’s industry expertise and technical capabilities aligned closely with the company’s strategic objectives.

Through the deployment, MIZUDA aims to standardise go-to-market processes, build reusable product data assets and establish a more agile and customer-focused product development system. The company also plans to create a unified digital thread linking innovation, production planning and continuous product lifecycle improvement.

Implementation teams from both organisations have already established project milestones, phased objectives and risk management plans to support system development and deployment.

Fabrice Canonge, CEO of Centric Software, said MIZUDA’s commitment to innovation and digital transformation makes it an ideal partner, adding that the collaboration will help deliver measurable business value while supporting the company’s next phase of intelligent manufacturing.
