Mishru Introduces ECHOES for Festive 2026
As the festive season approaches, Mishru has unveiled ECHOES, its Fusion Festive 2026 collection. The new collection reworks the brand’s signature design language with a focus on ease, versatility and contemporary dressing.
Founder and Creative Director Swapna Anumolu continues to shape Mishru’s evolution by responding to how women dress today. While intricate surface craftsmanship, detailed embroidery and occasion-led silhouettes remain central to the house, ECHOES brings these elements into more adaptable styles.
From Reframed to ECHOES
Earlier this year, Mishru explored a similar idea through Reframed, its bridalwear-focused collection. The collection encouraged women to look beyond the original purpose of treasured bridal pieces by separating, restyling and bringing them back into everyday wardrobes.
With ECHOES, Mishru extends this approach to festive dressing. The collection responds to the growing demand for pieces that feel celebratory while remaining lighter and easier to wear.
Rather than moving away from its established identity, Mishru revisits its familiar signatures and gives them a contemporary direction.
“Echoes is about evolution rather than nostalgia. We returned to some of Mishru’s most familiar codes, from intricate florals to sculptural construction, and reworked them with a lighter, more contemporary attitude. The past is present, but the expression feels entirely of now,” says Swapna Anumolu, Founder and Creative Director, Mishru.
Familiar Craft Meets Contemporary Silhouettes
ECHOES draws from some of Mishru’s most recognised embroideries, motifs and surface treatments. The collection places these familiar elements in new compositions and translates them into contemporary prêt and fusion silhouettes.
At the same time, craftsmanship remains central to the collection. However, Mishru takes a lighter approach to surface detailing. As a result, the pieces can move easily across intimate celebrations, festive gatherings and larger occasions.
The collection also creates a sense of continuity. Details from Mishru’s earlier design language return in new forms, connecting the past with the present.
Festive Dressing for Today
The name ECHOES reflects this balance between familiarity and newness. Each design carries elements of Mishru’s established aesthetic while responding to the needs of today’s wearer.
Designed for modern celebrations, the collection brings together signature surface craftsmanship, considered construction and understated opulence. Therefore, the festive pieces aim to feel elevated without becoming difficult to wear.
