David Yurman, the American luxury jewelry brand, has unveiled its inaugural Men’s High Jewelry collection, ‘The Vault,’ featuring actor Michael B. Jordan as the global brand ambassador. In this groundbreaking move, Jordan will take center stage, representing both the collection and the brand’s 2024 campaign.
Evan Yurman, president and chief creative officer, highlighted the brand’s commitment to curiosity and innovation, stating that there’s no better time to venture into men’s jewelry. Michael Jordan, recognized for his multifaceted talents and elegance, is seen as the perfect fit to convey the significance of ‘The Vault’ collection.
Directed and photographed by Tyler Mitchell in Los Angeles, the campaign, styled by Jason Bolden, unfolds a visual narrative celebrating architectural design and creativity through a series of images and a short film.
Drawing inspiration from architecture, mythology, and nature, the 30-piece assortment includes eye-catching necklaces, bracelets, rings, and cufflinks. Crafted with bespoke cuts and illusion settings using rare and high-quality gemstones, the designs showcase oval links adorned with pavé diamonds, creating a dazzling and seamlessly moving landscape.
Each piece in ‘The Vault’ collection is meticulously crafted by master artisans, incorporating custom diamond cutting and setting techniques reminiscent of high watch-making. Michael B. Jordan expressed the campaign’s theme as embracing individuality, stating that working with David Yurman allowed him to collaborate on creating something universal, classic, and reimagined.
The exclusive collection is now available by appointment in select David Yurman retail stores, inviting customers to experience the artistry and uniqueness of this debut Men’s High Jewelry collection.
