When organising your calendars for the last quarter of this year, don’t forget to include the third Uniform & Sportswear Expo (USE) 2024 in your itinerary. Vibgyor Expositions, the biggest B2B expo in India for the uniform and sportswear industries, will be back at the Nehru Exhibition Centre in Worli, Mumbai, from November 21–23.
“With each edition of Uniform & Sportswear Expo, the response from exhibitors and visitors rises to greater heights,” stated Devang N. Sheth, Director, Vibgyor Expositions, the event organisers, in reference to the upcoming USE. Our database keeps growing, and we are able to have a bigger influence thanks to our marketing initiatives including print, social media, and roadshows.
We anticipate more development in the 2024 edition, when Daily Wear will be co-located, broadening the show’s reach and guaranteeing even greater outcomes for the exhibitors who can present a larger range. As usual, we have the backing of eminent periodicals and associations.
Participating in the first Great India Textile Show (GITS) 2024 in Meerut and the second GarFax TX 2024 in Jaipur were two of the first moves in this direction.
Explaining the dual purposes behind these two initiatives and multiple benefits that resulted, Devang Sheth, organiser of Uniform & Sportswear Expo (USE) 2024, said, “We participated in GITS as we wanted to meet the leading sportswear manufacturers from Meerut, create awareness about our expo and understand the market dynamics to serve our industry in an even better way. Sportswear is one of the key segments of our show so we felt that a face-to-face, in-person interaction was the need of the hour.
The market for uniforms and sports apparel is set to grow exponentially but it needs a dedicated platform to achieve that potential. USE 2024 will provide precisely that. It will also offer an ideal opportunity for all stakeholders connected with these segments to interact face-to-face and reap big benefits going forward thereafter.
Recent reports have made it clear that the potential is not just within India but an opportunity to tap markets beyond borders as well. This sunrise industry has vast scope to increase its share within the apparel and textile market. There is immense potential for growth and development.
USE 2024 will be a catalyst for transformation leveraging the strong textile base and printing facilities in India. This initiative will enable manufacturers from this country to export all over the world; facilitating the ‘Make in India’ efforts as they progress and achieve a level of true success.
The previous edition, USE 2023 had 45 stalls of prominent exhibitors showcasing uniform & sportswear, t-shirts manufacturers, suiting & shirting, sublimation printers, DTF, garment accessories, elastics, lanyards, ID cards, school accessories & textile printing related services from Pune, Kalol, New Delhi, Bangalore, Indore, Surat, Ludhiana, Ahmedabad, Tirupur, Mumbai and Hong Kong who participated in the exhibition.
Among them, Mafatlal Industries Ltd. was one of the leading brands and they introduced their sustainable range of uniforms / fabrics while showcasing vast range of products / services related to the industry. The Reliance Industries stall also stood out, showcasing their recently launched R|Elan™ – Fabric 2.0, which has a portfolio of unique fabric innovations; smart fabrics created from specially engineered fibres and yarns using the cutting-edge technological expertise and state-of-the-art R&D.
