Manushi Chhillar, a famous actress, has been named the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council’s new worldwide brand ambassador. At its India Evening event in New Delhi, which featured jewellery runway shows and an ambassador meet-up from around the world, the GJEPC announced the announcement.
The GJEPC said in a press release on July 19 that ambassadors from over 60 nations attended the event on Monday night. Chhillar’s new position, which will see her promote India’s diamond, gem, and jewellery business around the world, was announced by the group at the time.

The GJEPC chairman Vipul Shah said during the occasion that “The Ambassador Meet 2023 is an opportunity to engage in policy advocacy impacting the gem and jewellery sector while facilitating more trade and exports.” We hope to spread the word about India’s expertise in gems and jewellery by meeting with ambassadors and diplomats and ask for their assistance in addressing them on a diplomatic and governmental level. This summit will assist open new doors for India, which has successfully inked various bilateral trade agreements to increase exports, notably those of gems and jewellery.
