Malabar Gold & Diamonds Expands Retail Presence in Goa
Malabar Gold & Diamonds, the world’s fourth-largest jewellery retailer and The Responsible Jeweller, has opened its second-biggest showroom in Goa.
Located on St. Joaquim Road, Borda, Margao, the new showroom brings the brand’s largest jewellery collection in the region. It also strengthens the company’s presence in one of Goa’s key jewellery markets.
Shri Digambar Kamat, Hon’ble Minister for Public Works Department (PWD), Government of Goa, inaugurated the showroom. Shri Damu Naik, State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), also attended the launch.
Filsar Babu, Regional Head (Karnataka & Goa), Malabar Gold & Diamonds, joined senior company officials and staff at the inauguration.
New Margao Showroom Offers Wider Jewellery Selection
The new showroom covers 7,839 sq. ft. across a ground-plus-two-floor format. The space combines contemporary interiors with a more personalised jewellery shopping experience.
Customers can explore an extensive selection of gold, diamonds, polki, uncut diamonds and precious gemstones. As a result, the showroom caters to different tastes, occasions and changing jewellery preferences.
The launch also supports Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ expansion across Goa. At the same time, it strengthens the brand’s position in Margao.
Jewellery now plays a role beyond traditional celebrations and milestones. Consumers increasingly use jewellery to express personal style and identity. Therefore, the new showroom offers a broader range of designs and categories under one roof.
Malabar Gold & Diamonds Highlights Customer Trust
Speaking on the occasion, M P Ahammad, Chairman, Malabar Group, said, “Our growth journey in every market is ultimately defined by the relationships we build with our customers. The new showroom in Margao is not just an addition to our retail network but an extension of that relationship, allowing us to be closer to our customers and the occasions that matter to them. Goa has been an important market for us. The response and trust we have received over the years have encouraged us to invest further in the region. With our largest collection, a welcoming environment, and a strong commitment to quality and transparency, we want every visit to Malabar Gold & Diamonds to feel personal, reassuring and valuable. As our customers’ preferences continue to evolve, our endeavour is to evolve with them while remaining anchored in the trust and values that have shaped our relationship with them.”
Six In-House Brands Under One Roof
The Margao showroom brings together collections from several Malabar Gold & Diamonds in-house brands.
These include:

- Era: Jewellery featuring uncut diamonds.
- Divine: Designs inspired by Indian heritage jewellery.
- Ethnix: Handcrafted designer jewellery.

The new showroom also reflects Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ focus on transparent and responsible retail practices.
All gold jewellery carries BIS hallmarking with HUID. In addition, the company tests and certifies its diamonds.
Under its Malabar Promises, customers receive 100% value on gold and diamond exchanges, transparent pricing and lifetime free maintenance. The brand also highlights its use of responsibly sourced products.
With the new Margao showroom, Malabar Gold & Diamonds combines a wider product portfolio with customer-focused retail services. The expansion further strengthens its growing presence in Goa.
