~ The new scores highlight DS Group’s commitment to Sustainability and Innovation in Green Building Practices ~
New Delhi, July 26, 2024 –The Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group), a multi-business corporation and a leading FMCG Conglomerate, has once again been recognised with a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum Green Building certification under the USGBC Existing Building – O+M Programme Version 4.0 category, solidifying its position as a global leader in green and sustainable building practices. The Group’s headquarters has been granted the accreditation, which is good for the next five years, maintaining its esteemed title of World’s Most Sustainable Green Building.
Based on an evaluation of eight criteria—water efficiency, transportation and location, indoor environmental quality, sustainable sites, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, innovation, and regional priority credits—the certification was awarded. With a score of 109 out of 110 at the time of recertification in June 2024—up from 104 in the previous edition—DS Group headquarters has taken back the top spot worldwide.
