Thousands of people gathered in Piazzale Michelangelo, situated above Florence, to enjoy cocktail hour as a spectacularly flaming red sunset showered the Arno in crimson light on Wednesday, following a day of heavy rain.

Enninful made his first appearance at the joint show following his resignation as editor-in-chief of UK Vogue, which was formally a promotion to a new global position.

Although there may be disputes on Edward’s ability as a features editor, there is no denying that he is a master stylist and a force to be reckoned with when it comes to bringing people together.

LuisaViaRoma scored a huge victory when 28 designers decided to collaborate on capsule collections with a maximum of three pieces. Beginning on June 15 and continuing every Thursday through the end of November, each designer will release their collection on a different Thursday.

Additionally, LuisaViaRoma and Google collaborated in real time to retail certain runway designs and a LuisaViaRoma advertising choice, creating a see now, buy now strategy that linked the runway to shoppers.

Andrea Panconesi, the CEO of LuisaViaRoma, Florence’s top fashion retailer and an internet expert with yearly earnings close to 200 million euros, has achieved an astonishing victory.

The Renaissance, and specifically Florence, is at the core of Western Civilization, said Panconesi, who was posing for pictures at a pre-show drink, she gushed, “I wanted fashion to be at the centre of the world tonight.

I wanted to work with Edward, but why? because for the past five years, he has been the most significant fashion editor. Who else could have assembled such a talented bunch of designers? Eh!” said Paconesi .

A top-notch mix of major brands like Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Max Mara, Michael Kors, Fendi, Paco Rabanne, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Tom Ford, Versace, as well as up-and-coming young talent like JW Anderson, Jacquemus, Loewe, Coperni, Nensi Dojaka, Richard Quinn, Victoria Beckham, Khaite, and Zimmermann made up the roster. All of which attest to the high regard with which Enninful is regarded within the design world.

A capsule collection did not always have three looks from each designer. Paco Rabanne and Armani will each only create one, while Dolce & Gabbana’s selections will be placed directly back into the house’s archives.
