Made in Filo at Filo66: Celebrating the Textile Supply Chain

The fourth edition of Made in Filo showcases fabrics developed from materials supplied by exhibitors, highlighting yarn innovation, processes and textile development.

The eagerly awaited Made in Filo collection is set to return at the 66th edition of Filo, offering visitors an insight into the potential developments of materials showcased at the international textile trade fair.

Now in its fourth edition, Made in Filo is a distinctive initiative through which Filo takes on the challenge of effectively going into production itself. The project results in a collection of fabrics created using materials provided by Filo exhibitors, highlighting the technical potential of the yarns and production processes involved.

Celebrating the Supply Chain

Made in Filo brings together Filo, its exhibitors and several partner companies in a collaborative project designed to demonstrate how materials presented at the fair can evolve into finished textile developments.

For the 66th edition, the collection explores the three themes of “Botanica”, the central theme of Filo66’s product development proposals.

The three themes are:

  • Spontaneous: Simple yarns are used to create fabrics with a natural feel and character.
  • Expanded: Inspired by the concept of an Italian garden, this direction explores very subtle weaves and textile effects.
  • Hybridised: A more experimental approach featuring highly structured jacquards and technical yarns, allowing greater freedom for creative interpretation.

Research and Innovation at Filo66

The Made in Filo fabric collection will be presented in an area dedicated specifically to research and innovation during the 66th edition of Filo.

The initiative provides visitors with an opportunity to see how yarns and materials exhibited at the fair can be interpreted through different textile structures, techniques and development approaches.

A preview of the collection is also available through Filo’s presentation video.

The 66th edition of Filo will take place on 15 and 16 September 2026 at Fiera Milano Rho, Hall 24, bringing the textile supply chain together around innovation, materials and product development.
