Louis Vuitton, a fancy fashion brand, has introduced its latest shoe, a slip-on sneaker made using something called 3D printing. They joined forces with Zellerfeld, a company specializing in this technology, to create these special shoes called the LV Cobra. This collaboration shows that although 3D printing might not change all shoes right away, it can make customizable shoes that even top designers love.
These new shoes made their debut at a fashion show hosted by Pharrell Williams in Hong Kong. They have a style similar to other Zellerfeld collaborations, but they stand out with the famous Louis Vuitton logo and design. The LV Cobra comes in two colours, black and white, and has a cool mix of textures printed on soft mesh and smooth parts.
The head of shoe design at Louis Vuitton, Mathias Patillon, shared a picture of the Cobra shoe on Instagram and mentioned working with Zellerfeld, hinting at their partnership in creating these cool sneakers. As for when these shoes will be available to buy, that’s not clear yet, but stay tuned for updates from the brand.
