Louis Vuitton recently threw a big party in Los Angeles to celebrate the opening of their new pop-up
shop. The event saw celebrities like actors Jaden Smith, Dylan Sprouse, Barry Keoghan, and Steven
Yeun showing up to support the French luxury brand.

Located at 8,800 Melrose Avenue (the old John Varvatos store), the pop-up shop is designed to
resemble the famous Pont Neuf bridge in Paris. Inside, the place dazzles with golden decor, Parisian-style street lamps, and architectural designs inspired by the iconic bridge. They’ve even used a
checkered floor that hints at a classic pattern from Louis Vuitton’s 19th -century collection.

One of the main attractions is a hidden room behind a massive bookshelf that can only be accessed
by finding the right book to pull. Inside this secret room, you’ll find brightly-colored Speedy leather
bags displayed dramatically under spotlights. The Speedy, a timeless Louis Vuitton classic reimagined
in soft leather, takes center stage in their SS24 collection.

The pop-up shop showcases various other signature items like Horizon luggage, Keepalls, Trail
Backpacks, and Soft Trunks, all styled differently from the SS24 collection, such as Damoflage and LV
Blason.

Louis Vuitton’s team mentioned that their clothing line includes a mix of sports and tailored looks,
with designs inspired by Los Angeles artist Henry Taylor, whose portraits have been embroidered
onto some of the collection’s pieces.

Their shoe collection boasts the LV Trainer, as well as new creations like the Palace Slipper and
Footprint Low Boot. Besides these, there’s a wide range of accessories available, from belts and hats
to jewelry and sunglasses. They’ve even got some exceptional pieces like the Speedy 40 Black Tie,
adorned with crystals and pearls, and an LV Blason Rolling Truck.

This special pop-up in West Hollywood will be open to everyone from January 4 until mid-March,
with another round of items dropping on February 8. It’s the only west coast location exclusively
featuring Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2024 men’s collection.

Louis Vuitton is launching these pop-up installations in more than 50 places worldwide, aiming to let
customers experience the unique world of their men’s collection, inspired by the creative director’s
debut show for the brand.
