The upscale clothing and accessory company Louis Vuitton has opened an online store for the Indian market. The company’s web store for India features its personalization service along with a large selection of opulent accessories.
Shriya Puri, the national manager for Louis Vuitton in India, posted on Linkedin, “Our India website is now live.” Customers from all around the nation will find it easier to buy the brand’s products without having to visit a physical store by creating an e-commerce site exclusively for the Indian market.
The action demonstrates the brand’s increased attention on the Indian market, which has a customer base that is becoming more affluent. The company manages online shops for the Middle East, Europe, and North American regions.
Deepika Padukone was named Deepika Padukone’s brand ambassador by Louis Vuitton last year. Padukone has introduced the brand to her Indian fan base while also marketing it on a worldwide scale as the first Indian star chosen to represent the company. In all, there are three Louis Vuitton boutiques in India: the DLF Emporio in New Delhi, the UB City in Bengaluru, and the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower in Mumbai. The company was founded in France in 1854 and is now owned by the world’s largest luxury retailer, LVMH, which runs more than 460 outlets in 60 nations, according to India Retailing.
