Lotte Duty Free is expanding its selection of premier jewelry and watch brands by introducing the renowned French luxury brand Messika to its e-commerce platform.A carefully curated assortment of Messika’s exquisite pieces, including those from the signature collection Move Classic, featuring three ‘moving’ diamonds in over 360 designs, went live on the web store on November 16th.
Having made its debut with Lotte Duty Free in Korea last year, Messika is now extending its presence to both online and offline channels within the duty-free industry. Lee Jung-min, Head of Product Division at Lotte Duty Free, expressed delight in introducing Messika to customers through various channels.
Described as a ‘fast-growing global diamond jewelry brand,’ Messika, founded in 2005 by Valerie Messika, showcases the beauty of diamonds with a modern and practical twist. With a presence in 75 countries, the brand is known for its collections designed for easy ‘mixing and matching,’ offering a range from chain-shaped bracelets and bangles to rings.Lotte Duty Free’s e-commerce site already hosts other esteemed jewelry brands such as David Yurman, Kirin, and Pomellato. The downtown duty-free locations feature additional brands like Chaumet, Fred, Damiani, and Vacheron Constantin, with plans to introduce more renowned jewelry and watch brands in the future to enhance customer shopping satisfaction.
Throughout the year, Lotte Duty Free has been actively strengthening its brand lineup across various categories. In July, the Korean fashion brand The Museum Visitor entered the Myeongdong store, followed by the introduction of French fashion brands Army and Maison Kitsuné in September. Simihaze Beauty, a Hollywood makeup brand, joined the lineup in September, making Lotte the brand’s exclusive retailer in Korea. The company has experienced significant sales growth, with October’s sales increasing by approximately 280% compared to the same period last year.
