In his autumn/winter 2023 collection, South Korean designer Eudon Choi, who is based in London, continues to prioritise developing a timeless, essential wardrobe by favouring contemporary, tailored items that are gently accentuated by historical and cultural references.
In contrasting modern, informal designs with sartorial functionality and comfort, Choi’s collection was “motivated by ambition to create garments that are long-lasting in both style and endurance,” according to the show notes.
It featured delicately cut blazers, shirtdresses, gorgeously draped floor-length gowns, lamb Nappa leather jackets with matching skirts, luxurious bombers in Venetian wool, utility trench coats, and wool jumpers with slit detailing. It was classy and timeless with accents of elite athleticism.

A subtle colour scheme with rich shades of indigo blue, walnut brown, and caramel was also provided by Choi, and it was based on a picture by Lucas Cranach (ca. 1540). Rose pink and scarlet were used as accent colours to break up the palette. Also, he used regal, warm wintery materials like pure cashmere, brushed jersey, wool, tweed, and leather in addition to corduroy, denim, and ribbed stripe details.

The majority of the designs for AW23 were combined with bags, continuing his cooperation with the French brand Louis Quatorze, which is owned by a Korean company. The leather bags Choi exhibited included complex Tudor elements with slit details, stud embellishments, and structured panelled quilting, departing from the dramatic silhouettes of past seasons.
