Lenzing – Lenzing Group, a leading global producer of wood-based specialty fibers, declared a global partnership with renowned fashion house Diane von Furstenberg (DVF) to introduce TENCELTM and LENZINGTM ECOVEROTM branded fibers produced from responsibly managed wood sources into mainstream fashion[1]. The partnership enables these resource-efficiently produced[2] fibers to make a substantial contribution to DVF’s flagship line of workwear and carefully chosen accessories.

Acclaimed for its classic styles and dedication to women’s empowerment, DVF is now broadening its influence by including Lenzing’s fibers into its collections. This is in addition to adopting the resource-efficient production process of these fibers, which opens up countless creative options. Since Lenzing’s TENCELTM and LENZINGTM ECOVEROTM branded fibers have received certification for environmental excellence from the EU Ecolabel[3], the partnership will help elevate DVF’s iconic design aesthetic by utilizing the low environmental impact of the fibers to create clothing items that combine comfort.

Recognized for their versatility in design and usage, TENCEL™ and LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded fibers have been featured extensively in various garment items in DVF collections since January this year, especially with their support for rich colors in fabrics, breathability and softness. The 2024 Summer season collection of DVF, themed “The Festival of Color”, featured a celebration of color and culture, inspired by summer festivals around the world, from Mexico’s Cinco de Mayo to Sweden’s Midsummer Festival to La Vandange in France.
