Lenskart, an eyeglass and eye care company, has recruited Jaimit Doshi as global head of marketing and CEO of its eyewear brand Hustlr. Doshi quit his position at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance to join the Gurugram-based company on September 2.
“Yesterday I joined Lenskart.com with a dual role—as Lenskart’s global head of marketing and CEO of Hustlr, their phenomenally successful brand,” stated Jaimit Doshi on LinkedIn. “So, as terrible as it was to leave Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, Peyush Bansal’s offer of this post during a dinner meeting was impossible to resist.” I almost jumped first and thought later.”

Doshi previously held the position of chief marketing and digital and technology officer at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance for approximately five years. Doshi has about 23 years of expertise in the financial services area, having worked for fintech startups, banks, and other institutions.
Lenskart sells in both India and other global markets, including Southeast Asia. The company raised $200 million from Temasek and Fidelity in June of this year and claimed that its consolidated operating revenue more than doubled in the fiscal year 2023. The brand recently established a new store in Dehradun as part of its ongoing effort to increase its physical footprint.
